Wow ... match of the week for the prelims is NK Hrvat vs. WFC Rangers 'B', with Kosova vs. Richmond Utd. 'B' providing what should be another good game.

How in the fcuk they picked the CAT B leader, BC Romania, to be the seeded CAT team baffles me... that div is pretty weak compared to the A side.

Not only that -- how do the Knights get seeded? How does the defending champ (NK) not get seeded? How does Club I get seeded ahead of WFC Rangers B? Or worse! How does Vancouver Olympics B get a bye through the prelims?!!

No Keeper, those teams are not all seeded...
The only seeded teams are the 4 "division leaders"...

Signmaster, Primo, Hurricanes, and Romania

Each of them is put straight into the round of 32, and would not be able to meet each other until the semi-finals. The rest of the teams are randomly drawn, either into the prelims or the round of 32

Fair enough, but I think you'd agree that there should be some sort of system that would prevent a team that hasn't won a single game all year from passing through the prelims over a team that pasted them 10-0.

I do agree with your first point, as well -- how was BC Romania decided to be the top CAT team? If nothing else, why not slot both top CAT teams in the Round of 32 -- say in games #30 and #32?

I'll just stop now -- this beginning to sound a lot like moaning. I'm looking forward to handing NK their second loss of the season. Then I too will be permitted to mock them. Those are the rules, aren't they Slowmotion?

Actually the top teams are seeded and subsequently have first round byes. I would have rather have seen the League seed the best second place team in Div 2 as the fourth seed rather than the top CAT team.

Correct, the league office did say the "CUP DRAW" would be held Tuesday the 24th. ANd only 4 teams would be seated. How BC Romania got seated?? they must have the IN with the league. I have not seen them play but if they where in CAT A they would not be on top. I believe the league is well aware that CAT A is much stronger than CAT B. I am quit surprised that WFC Rangers didn't get that 4th spot with 30 points to Romanias 29 points??? Is the vmsl head quarters getting into figure skating judging or something
