Actually, the rankings are very cool in a nerdy sort of way. And by nerdy I don't mean Texas Rattler.

I do see a few controversial rankings though. Personally, I think B United and Sandzak should switch spots. I mean, c'mon, B United is definitely worthy of the 24th spot. And its quite obvious Sandzak should be at 25.

How the hell does a team get a negative ranking? The 'Roos are at -11. Ouch.

All arguments asside about the FVSL vs. VMSL, the debate is now settled: the FVSL has Farmer's FC, while the VMSL has Cleo's FC .

Maybe the best sponsor ever. How can I transfer, how much is the club fee, and does it come with sponsor's shag...I mean, swag?

Pretty cool Bonefish. I am curious to see how the rankings change from week to week. Once Romania gets brought back to earth, I could see several of the teams in 2C finishing fairly close together at season's end. Unfortunately, the top teams from the other less competitive brackets will probably finish way ahead in the power rankings by season's end. I suppose cup play will settle some of the differences of opinion. I cannot see three of the final four coming from one bracket as occurred last year. Of course that is discussion best left for a different thread...

Well done on the power rankings there my friend I liken these rankings to that of NCAA Football a great system at the start of the year but likely to fcuk up everything by the end of it. There is a difference here though no national title shall be decided on the rankings of all teams listed. I do like the system though and may have to question whether or not you are on holidays from your paid form of employment. Well done and hopefully up the ladder the knights can climb.

There are jobs i have worked in the past where you punch a clock and there are jobs where an 8hr day turns to a 17hr day with the "blip-blip:You have mail" on my PDA. For the record, I work the latter, and i do work hard. With that said, do not over estimate excel formulas some cut and paste and a late afternoon coffee-crisp(a little bit of sugar-kick) for a 20min analysis of some readily available stats.

I have, since the initial work applied some different logic to the combined list but there was very little change both scale and scope. Week nine would be optimum for playing with numbers if every one gets through the first leg of their games.

PDA? As in public display of affection? You go ahead and work it, dude, but be careful. Sleeping with co-workers isn't always for the best. They don't even let me train females at my work anymore.

If everyone gets through the first leg? I'm on my fourth set of legs already this season and I've only played a couple of games. Brutal.

I see the ideal weighting for each category to be stones. Kilos and pounds just aren't as cool. By the way, how many stones does the hair in your avatar weigh? That is impressive. You could probably hide about 2 stones, or 28 pounds, of weed in your hair and get across the border without anybody knowing.

17 hour work-days?! That's fcuk all, really. I don't want to brag but I eat gravel for breakfast, walk both ways uphill to the office, work 35 hours a day, 10 days a week and have a part-time job for my 1 day off a year (Christmas).

A fair amount of movement in the bottom 15 but not as much in the the top. That should change after this upcoming weekend with lots of key match ups. (Polonia vs Signmaster, Bombastic, vs PCOV, Primo vs Alemania, Green Devils vs Romania, Norvan vs Yaletown, Richmond vs Belmont.)

As expected, most of the movement was in the top half of the table. Next week does not feature many key matchups but Richmond could drop out of the top 5 with a loss to Primo.

The combined rankings are starting to skew with the uneven games. I will see if I can work the numbers to take games played into account.

Notabales:
Green Devils break the top 5 with a win over Norvan.
Knights drop 3 spots after getting blown out by City FC
City FC closing in on top 10 even with 3pts docked by the league.

Dont be surprised if City FC starts to go on a tear through the standings. They are a much better team then their standings show. Look for them to have a very strong second part of the season. Like the JB's, they are even tougher to play on their turf home pitch
