VMSL Allstars 2007/2008

I see the Fraser Valley league has already selected their allstar team and with the VMSL regular season now completed, which performances were worthy of being selected to the allstar team?

Based on last year's format, here's my two cents:

Goalies: Shepherd (Surrey United), Sandhu (Croatia), Breure (Sapperton)

Defense: Nash (West Van), Skinner (Firemen), Mark Gomes (Sporting), Jelic (Croatia), Ibishomi (AFC), Sajjan (Indo), Poli (Columbus)

Midfield: King (Columbus), Dodd (West Van), Barrett (Firemen), Valdez (Delta), Maistry (Inter), Botteriglio (Metro Ford)

Forwards: Sulentic (Croatia), Crouch (Inter), Dormer (Sporting), Fetterly (West Van), Ganief (Surrey)

My apologizes to Norvan and Westside for excluding some of your players, and I'm sure I missed some other good performances from other players on other teams.

There is no way you can leave Jinky off of this team.

There's no way you can leave Mike Gomes off that list, unless you wrote the wrong Gomes down. He's a strong candidate for MVP this year.

Seriously??? The FVSL team picked their players (after top 10) based on how to beat the VMSL... If Gomesy Jr. is off how the hell you gonna win???

BTW, we have plenty of guys willing to kick the cnut out of Azzi's mob!!!
