They'll find the weapons of mass destruction before they find the back of the net. Fcuking awful. So much for my draw.

USA looked as god awful as Canada at times...Yikes! I thought the US also looked fairly small and won absolutely nothing in the air.

How bad was that?

US didn't even look like the second best team in CONCACAF today. Too many nights out in the red light district me thinks.

Where's Coach? His buddy was lit up today. Not that he could stop any...at least the first two were clinical. Nothing he could do there.

Yet it's strangely satisfying to see them tank.

I’m just the opposite. I was hoping they did well so people in North America can see that if you put money into a program, have a proper and professional leagues for National team players to participate in full time, you can do well.

Well, they're in the WC, aren't they? That's enough for me.

Galss is only half full.

Queue(sp): LFC2 and his nonsense about not needing proper positive media and the MLS won’t help.

Agree w/ KNVB...little disheartening to watch how badly they were outplayed. Not even close today.

But, you can also point to Mexico, too. Domestic league, looked great yesterday.

Well, they have two more games to get some results, so if anything, we'll realy see what they are made of.

From what I saw of Ghana today, I'm very much looking forward to the USA vs Ghana match now... a #5 ranked team should never go w/o any points in any World Cup!

i believe queue is a very long winded way to say what in spanish.

unfortunately for the americans, they played poorly against probably the best performance yet which probably made it worse than it could have been. Other monumental dissapointing 1st games can go to the english, portuguese, and the swedes. So not alone, but after watching Ghana/Italy, i would not be betting an american quarter on them advancing

cue KNVB as he appears to have allot of time on his hands

Good solid performance by the Czech's today. They along with Holland and Argentina have played a notch above all the other teams thus far.

No surprises as yet except Ecuador. Poland looked more like Scotland than Poland and Ecuador were well worth the points.

Be nice to finally take a look at the Brazilians tomorrow and I think the French will be in for tougher game than they think.

Cheers

Huge difference between #2 and #5...

Maybe the rankings system needs to be tweaked a bit. Czechs looked like favourites today; possibly Cup finalists?

I would expect the Americans to play a hell of a lot better against Italy; especially with the report that Bruce Arenas tore a strip off his players and Landon Donovan in particular. Not expecting them to necessarily come through with a win, but play well enough to put a huge scare into the Italian psyche. They reeked today.

Captain, you being a coach, former professional, and all around football aficionado, wouldn't having two players 6'6" or taller make the Czechs hard to check?

Sorry.

Wholly flopping fish batman.
Have the Czech's now taken over the as the diving and acting champions of the World Cup.
That was even more aweful than the US's performance
