We went into the game without 3 of our starters including the league's leading goal scorer. But no excuses, we quickly realized thatPAU is a talented team and had us on our heels for much of the game. Both teams hit a crossbar and a couple of posts and PAU strikers missed...
Thanks for all the support here on ttp. It was the scariest situation I had ever gone through. I seriously thought he was going to die before the ambulance showed up. Our fear for our teammate turned to anger after the game when we heard what really happened.

It was out of the play. Our player asked the Langley player to keep his elbows down and received a nice swift elbow to the face seconds later. He was out before he hit the turf.....he described him as "big guy with dark hair". It could be the same chap that received the only red in the game...

We dominated from start to finish. Too bad Langley got frustrated and started throwing elbows and hitting us from behind. One of our guys was sent to the hospital with a bad concussion. They have guys that can play, but could do without some of them that are just out...
