my club asked me to and I have really enjoyed coaching them and decided to make a commitment to the girls side of the program for a few years. Just hate all these politics that's going on. Is it me or are the politics more frequent in girls soccer?

I've been coaching girls for the past 2 years now on the Metro girls side and I am amazed at how some club coaches attempt to "poach" players to their teams. I've coached on the boys side for many years and never had heard of this occuring so much.

I believe the hubcaps have been "devoloping youth" as they say in the Super Y League for the past 7 years now. Where have all these players gone now? In all those years not one player was good enough to even sit on the bench for this team? Is the Super Y League just a money grab for them then...

Ancient Mariners 1 Sikh United 2. Sikh United won in penalties after going to the 7th shooters.
A good lively game with the Mariners going up 1-0 with about 15 minutes to play. Sikh scored with about 8 to go. In any event it was an improved performance for us Mariners...
I couldn't agree more wtih Parkhead! Colin Miller was the perfect fit as he been at the highest of levels in Europe as both a Coach and Player. Once again the "Hubcaps" have gone and done the wrong thing for the sport here. Typical!

The Super Y League is the best place to play. The Abbotsford Fraser Valley, Okanagan, Victoria and Vancouver Whitecaps have teams in this league.
The tryouts are just finishing now I believe for most teams though so you may want to hurry in finding the contacts for that age...
