Understood - I was more responding to this quote :
"CCB ... have the quality players to strengthen any team in BCPL"
So why are they not playing in the BCSPL then?

I wonder how long all those "great players" at CCB going to continue to be held back from playing at a proper competitive level.
Expect the Caps to park the bus and try to hit LA on the counter... which means long balls over the top to Mattocks and Richards. If we score first we have every chance of winning. If not, we're in big big trouble.
Guildford is tiny compared to the other 3 - I wouldn't be surprised if SU swallowed them at some point.
Hopefully CCB and SFC can continue on and grow seperately. I'd like to see them embrace LTPD (espcially the "players play at appropriate levels" part) more than they do currently.
At my club the decision to put clubs in Gold/Silver/Bronze was based on 'gut feel' of the coaches, the TD, and the staff coaches - and sure those things can and will be wrong but what everyone wants to avoid is teams getting regularly pounded by 8-9 goals. Nobody was saying "Yeah, your team...
Apparently there is to be a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the movement of teams... word is that they are only going to move teams where the scores are really bad.
So, I took a quick look at the U13's as you did AMA, and here's what I think should happen :
From D1B to D2 - Poco Rangers...
By your U13 example Geordie, surely the CCB Tigers from D2 (fairly dominant against pretty decent teams it seems) would move up and Poco Rangers sent down... I dunno, I'm just interested in how all of it happens?
Well now that the Thanksgiving break is upon us, we'll finally get to see the movement of teams... looking at bcsoccercentral it will be really interesting to see who gets moved up and down etc.
He (and the seemingly forgotten Nizar Khalfan) are away this weekend, Caps don't play again until September 10 in New York. Both will be back for that match.
I think they need a better central midfielder than Pete Vagenas to play with Koffie, and of course another center back. Rochat is good but he is far better on the left. Jordan Harvey to the subs bench. Maybe we need someone to play on the right as well, as there has been no regular there...
I coach a select team, and my boys get excited about the travel and playing in other areas against different associations. The parents who do the driving, not so much!
