From what rumours I have heard, he signed a new contract based on how many players he can bring into that club and Bronco, yes it is a big joke. Seems like no one cares about the development of player... Just bring in the money
Yes @Regs, that is the number that was thrown out there. From what was talked about, apparently $80 from each players registration goes to their TD. As for how long he has been there I have no idea nor do I even know who this person is or his credentials.
Should be an interesting time between...
So a couple weeks ago at the BC soccer AGM talk came about TD's in clubs and that Langey United's TD has a salary of 160k per year based on bringing players over to their club. How does a club manage to pay someone this crazy amount of money, when the club doesn't even have an HPL Franchise and...
Capt.
Metro teams will have the opportunity to challenge for the Provincial Cup this year along with the HPL teams.
When the HPL was formed there was a 2 year moratorium for only allowing HPL Francises playing for the Premier Provincial Cup.
Last week at the AGM it was voted that the Premier...
1-0 Uvic at half. Should be 2-0. First couple minutes Uvic hits one under the bar bounces just in. Both ref and linesman miss it as it's quickly cleared away
Geordie, let's just put it all into perspective on why CCB, LU and WCA want to get their hands on an HPL franchise. It all comes down to MONEY!! Not very many clubs really care about the development of the player. It's all about how much cash can we bring in. Back when we were younger we didn't...
They were in discussions with West Coast at the time and of course having Langley U and WCA would benefit the Mariners by joining.
The point your missing though is that for LU and WCA to join, is that they want control of the franchise (look at the Fraser F.C. document they proposed with no...
With the MOU between Abby, Chilliwack, LFC and Aldergrove, the Mariners Hpl francise should be fine and you are right, time will tell"... Just nice to know Kasper and Begg steaming right now as they wanted full control and did not want to sign the MOU
HJ, as I said before, he has no interest into getting back into soccer and he is only 12. Which is a prime age to keep them going, but the powers that be and the way things were done at LUYSA he pretty much said " I don't want to play anymore I just want to play hockey. I have more fun there."...
RF I know Metro Ford well ;-). The fact of the matter is, after his experience at LUYSA (and he is a very good player with last year being invited to try for WFC residency) he no longer wants to play the game. He is now perfectly content playing hockey, even though he knows he is a house hockey...
What I said in my last post is all I will say as it is a youth discussion. If Regs will allow it on this thread then I will elaborate as it needs to get out there to keeps kids playing unlike mine who was in Langley and quit the game.
