We got humped by 16 year olds.....6-nil. They definatly exposed our age and the 1/2 step (3 steps for some of us) jump they had on us.

Supersub got it right. We were lucky to get out of that game with a point. Especially in the first half we should have been down by 4 for sure. Our keeper did keep us in the game with some great saves on some crackers by Langely.

We managed to get a couple more about 30 minutes into the second half and one in the last 5 minutes. Not a well played game by us. Up 3-1 at halftime then go to sleep in the second half and let them score 2 goals in the first 5 minutes. Managed to hold on and get our crap together and...
Things are tight in the for a lot of clubs in Div 1 this year. Besides PoMo with 27pts and 11 games played everyone else in the top 9 or 10 is in a dogfight. I know some of you will say we have more games in hand but you still have to win them (Dewd Utd is a prime example).

I do like the fact that everyone is not taking us seriously and seems to look past us. Its way easier being the underdog. That being said we are not doing bad for a team that everyone said would be chased back to Div. 2.
