Actually based on what I heard Lions have no bodies hence withdrawing from cup round Freddy.
In terms of SU being relegated, Regs wasn't out on Friday which definitely hurt them. They could have used them as they are also struggling for bodies.
Good points. Inter and Cliff had same issue a few years ago. My guess teams like Sapp and PCOV will follow same pattern. It doesn't mean you can't compete with 11 quality guys but not for an entire 90. Teams that have won have always had 16 to 18 bodies who can interchange throughout the field.
Yes, over 40's needs more competitive teams. Columbus and 22nd Ave. Lions are the only ones...Westside has been disappointing as they don't have all of their quality bodies out there.
Wow. Scary to think what jungleman thinks about other referees in the league....one thing for sure is that Griffin last night had woman of the match...she is very good and runs most men out of the park!
Yes, but still in relegation trouble....
Lions had only ten to start but showed very well with some good attack against a slower MF squad. Their backline looked tired but had extra bodies. Two fantastic strikes one from each team too.
Hopefully the eleven players doesn't catch up to you Sir M. Something tells me you'll get more bodies out as the season wears on. But two missed PK's, ouch!
Preview to the finals maybe? Although Standing Bear may disagree....
Dancin Bear...I think you misread me.....You may have scored against their backline but you also have to keep balls out of your net:) WIckham was known for a few years to be a hardworking team. You still need numbers and unfortunately they do not. Columbus, on the other hand, have numbers and...
Columbus VS Westvan very good game. Depends on who has bodies....
I give the edge to Columbus boys. Caught a few minutes last Friday. They have a very good backline this year. D wins championships!
Agreed Fireball. Just don't ask any seasoned players for help....
Some good players there and can see them being in middle of pack IF
they survive this year.
