Great post Soccermom2. Our daughter's SF team has already been contacted by a number of CCB players looking for a tryout. Also talked to a MFMFC parent today and he had no clue about the merger. Best of luck to the parents and players as they scramble throughout this process.
Exactly!!!!! When they lost the bid they no longer supported the BCPL and even discouraged their players from coming to other tryouts but now it's about "long term player developement".
So 6 months ago BCPL was crap, waste of money, no benefit, better off saving your money and playing metro, etc. NOW that they are affliated with a franchise its the best thing since sliced bread. Wow!!So is training now half NAP and half Abby or is Abby going to get slowly pushed aside? Have fun...
Re: WANTED- FRIENDLY 11-ASIDE FOOTBALL[soccer] GAME AGAINST YOUR 98/99 BORN BOYS TEA

At least they have come out with a stating point that is reasonable for the parents. It may go up the second year but so could everybody elses. At least they have made the information available. What is SU going to charge for the pre-season, kit and then the full year? Is the figure of $2500...
Yes, Capt S in 2013 will be $1300 (or $1300 + $285 if they are new to the team-pays for kit). Parents should be asking their own franchises...why $2500 and then they need to see a budget.
