The main event of the big oval ball game starts this weekend in France.



Canada needs a result over Wales to have a chance at qualifying for the knockout stages and equalling there best ever performance. Won't be easy as the Welsh players are fully professional while only some of the Canadian contingent is.

Canada is expected to beat Fiji and Japan and to take and absolute mauling from the Wallabies.

The groups are as follows while the 8 expected quarter finalists are in bold letters.

Scotland and Wales are the 2 teams who seemingly could be beaten out for a quarter final spot but that will require some great results for the other Group A and C teams.

New Zealand, France, Australia and South Africa are the favorites.
England and Ireland make up the second tier while everyone else is behind

Argentina currently demolishing France (if it's live), France very lucky the score is only 17-9, as they've only been in the Argentinian end 3 times. Going to be a cracking world cup, that's for sure.
