Notable teams playing in this league are Green Devils, FC Romania, Estrella de Chile (AFC Leopards), Primo FC from the VMSL 1st Division in addition to Guazapa (League Champs 4 of the last 5 years), plus Heights FC and Westside Strikers recently promoted to the 1st Division who look to be comparable 1st Division type sides.
The league, as always, features a strong Latin American content with a more diverse multicutural look this year than in previous years.
League is under a new board, major shakeups include the consolidation of their 2nd & 3rd Divisions to create 2 "a" and 2 "b" with the top side in each division gaining promotion to the conveted 1st Division.
Games are played at: Burnaby North, Burnaby Lake, Clinton Park, Vantech Turf, Richmond High and King George Park.
Finals at Swangard as is tradition for this league.
