Well considering ND has only allowed 1 goal the whole provincial run, that might be a stretch.
We had some good battles against them in our FVSL days so I can't see it being that easy.

It'll be a close one I believe.

All valley final ?! Should be a cracker, Rangers are extremely composed in their own third, will be exciting to see how poco do vs them, favourites ?? Good luck to both teams and hopefully the rangers can bring back some hardware to close out their near perfect season...

We could go back a few seasons and see just how we've done against them
;)

It will be a good game. I'm sure everyone expected Columbus to walk to final and ND stopped that so it won't be a cake walk that's for sure.

I agree, I think this one has all the makings of a very good final. It may come down to goalkeeping.

Unlucky to my mates at North Delta.
Two years on the trot making it to the final - Not too shabby.

Well done Yoda - Good for you bud.

Late I know but after my 3 months of hell I feel compelled.
In our game vs Croatia (where we got schooled) a complete reckless challenge by one of their players probably 1' shorter than me had his head go through the side of mine.
Concussion - thanks.
4 weeks later collapse on my front lawn - Grand Mal Seizure - thank god it didn't happen earlier in the day as I drove home from Ucluelet
After a battery of tests finally been diagnosed the seizure was concussion induced.
Soccer playing days are done
My last 3 months have been brutal - but finally am making traction thanks to concussion specialist Doctor Sigalet who is making big strides with me
Numerous days curled up in a ball - trying to make the world stop spinning
Can't drive for 6 months
Incredible stress induced on the family to get me to and from work - taking time off is not an option
My life is changed and the sport I love I can't play
Something to think about for all of us oldtimers who have families to feed and bills to pay. We don't get paid for this shite so let's atleast respect safety for each other on the park.

Wow...unlucky Forrest.
Had no idea on this.

You're a great player mate and glad your recovery is 'headed' in the right direction.
Pardon the pun - Its still TTP and all. ;)

Best wishes on getting back to full health and take care,
RF

Wow...shitty deal. Not glad to hear it happened in the 1st place, but glad it's headed in the right direction.

I have to say, that's the one thing that scares me a lot about Masters footy. We're all slower and older, but we tend to tackle a little harder, too. Plus we're heavier.

All the best, 4ST.

I watched North Delta play Sikh Temple in the provincial Semi final and saw it least 3 blatant red card tackles. Guys diving into players from 10 yards away with studs lifted, No card of any kind on two occasions. I walked away thinking I have absolutely no interest in playing that. I get it we're men and the competitive drive never leaves but you're 35-50 years old, its the geriatric games for fcuk sakes. Crazy how little respect there is for each others safety.

Its a generational toughness thing 'Jive.

Seriously though Gurps - Sort it out. ;)

I've seen this shite though when I was a kid just starting in mens.
Admitted - I did it too.
The one thing I do respect about the modern amateur game here in BC is that there does seem to be a bit more respect at the younger levels nowadays, compared to when I was younger, which is much better and needed.
Sh*t still happens but the game seems to be better that way and well monitored by the officials.

I think even at the top levels compared to 20/30 years ago its simply better controlled and respected also.

I had beers with Scheuey yesterday giving him a hard time about his 50 year old elbows...:D

My two bits,
