Crazy rumour: Costa Rica captain Bryan Ruiz to the Whitecaps.

He's out of contract after this season... and would surely command a DP salary. So the only way this could work is if the Caps have enough allocation money to buy-down one of the DP contracts (weird MLS rules). If he ends up in Vancouver, or with any MLS team he wouldn't come until July.

They have Laba as a normal DP and he's 23 yet Rivero is 23 and is the Young DP. Anyone know the difference?

Does anyone really know the bizarre rules of the MLS? I think Labba's salary is close enough that it could be bought down. If not tell LA they need a fourth DP and the league will change the rules.

Looks like single game tickets will be going on sale Friday so you better get the premium games early before they sell out. Oh and btw those premium games will cost you a little more than the regular games. Makes ense they are going to sell out anyway so why not make a little extra money.
