So the new league and season is upon us with the first match for PFC this Sunday @4 PM vs Halifax

Full Pacific FC Schedule
https://pacificfc.canpl.ca/schedule

The first game isn't on TV but should be available via streaming though no idea what the cost is yet because you can't buy a package and there is no pricing that I can see yet - FFS

Closed doors match tonight against TSS Rovers.
Go Rovers! ;)

The more I read about the CPL and the upcoming season I'm kind of liking it.
And, Pacific FC seems to have a decent squad?
Time will tell I guess.

This is simply good for our game - Period.

Agreed, my only concern is nobody outside the die hard soccer community has heard a lick about the league. My family are big time sports people and have heard nothing. Anyone I speak to outside of the soccer bubble don’t even know it’s happening.

I think it was a week ago or something and they had a TV ad that launched during a CBC Leafs game... might be why no one from around here saw it?

Wow.
I know Rovers are young but that is definitely men against boys.

Good point on the CPL not being known outside of soccer circles.
Hopefully the games on the tele will change that you jive motha fcuka.

I take it that is TSS Rovers, and wow indeed, a hump-ing!

I would have expected a better showing. They still may not have their camp together, while PFC have had a couple of months, so....

Can confirm that's the first TSS Rovers anything of 2019... not even a training session held before this match.

Also, Nick Soolsma will not be returning to TSS.

Spoke to Buckfast today and he was there.
On the bench actually as a sub for their GK coach.

He said yes, first time out, Rovers aren't fit yet, and a lot of them hadn't even met each other until the ferry ride.
But they wanted to help PFC as they needed a warm up match for this weekend, and they felt it would also be a good experience for them.
Especially their younger players.
He said they ran out of gas at 60 minutes and then came the onslaught.

His words - 'These guys are specimens'.
And 'They're professionals'.
He was impressed with the look of their squad.

If I knew how to get the computer thingy working on the TV thingy so I could watch on a big screen I would order it.

I...do not.

Don't you have kids to show you?

$75 for the season sounds reasonable and maybe your $75 dollar contribution could help pave the way for little Billy to reach the top.
