This is awesome, not simply because a kid beat cancer, but because he beat brain cancer. Having been involved with R2S so long, we hear so many stories and stats related to cancer, it become both overwhelming and mechanical at the same time. Stats like 100% rate of death among children who are diagnosed with brain cancer. I believe that stat is repeated somewhere here, http://www.braincanada.ca/ , but I don't have time to dig for it right now.

So, not only did he beat the odds as a child with cancer, he overcame statistically impossible odds in beating THIS cancer.

A friend from University, is going through this as well, you probably seen her story on cbc http://www.cbc.ca/news/thenational/carling-muir-s-brain-cancer-procedure-1.3862166 incredible strength and what they're doing to battle this disease is incredible. Hopefully more people can beat it with the new technology.
