Paris Saint-Germain signs David Beckham for 5 months - ESPN FC

Well Becks is off to PSG! Playing for free and having his salary donated to charity. A class act, I think this will be a good fit for him, playing in Europe, in a mediocre league, with a "big name" team, champions league etc. Thoughts?

Good for him and good for him donating his entire salary, a class man that should one day be knighted. The move itself is more of a publicity stunt for PSG though as i'm sure he won't make much of an impact on how the team does, but more so on jersey sales. Either way i hope he does well for them if given the chance.

Not even close to a mediocre league when compared to his last league. Probably not as good as Spain for sure, probably, Italy, maybe England and Portugal, but I am not convinced on the latter two 100 per cent: so far from mediocre IMO.
