No, he is not affiliated with Canada West that I know of. The schools provide all production, not even sure if they have commentary on the soccer games.

Cool. Who knows, maybe it will evolve into that. He was pretty good on the Rovers webcasts.

I must say, having the All Access pass which gives you the quad player is awesome.

Good work by whomever put that in place!

The commentary was a kind of last minute thing. Wasn't sure I could make it along. Not going to be doing tomorrow's game cos of the 'Caps game, but doing pretty much all the rest of the season bar one.

I enjoyed it, although probably needed some more research as I couldn't remember who played for what VMSL teams!

From what I can gather full commentary and quality production will be mandated by USports next year for all teams. Nice to get in on the ground floor haha

Canada West webcasting with full production is mandatory for Football, Basketball and Volleyball... Ice Hockey maybe. Soccer, as you note, will be starting next year. There are 5 schools this year who don't webcast any of their home games.

For last night's UBC game, sounded like a great crowd? I'm guessing 60% 18 year old girls all falling for Mosh :)

I saw in the boxscore that they had over 1000 fans at the UBC game last night. Not sure how accurate that is, but anything more than mom, dad and the occasional Mosh groupie is progress. Hopefully that carries over to the game against TWU tonight.
Looks like TWU had a big win against UVIC last night so should be a good one versus UBC.

Official attendance was 1232 but there was way over 2000 there. Only the end sections at either side were empty. It was a welcome new student night and the first 'Birdcage' event of the year.
