Like I said......a 2 - 1 win was definitely in the cards. I managed to watch the second half and I love the 8-1-1 formation. I made the mistake of playing 6 - 2 - 2 with my boys team a month ago as we only drew 1 - 1 in that game. And the funny thing is, Celtic had 4 legitimate 'starters missing. :D It really is an UNBELIEVABLE result for the Bhoys....as that was Barcelona's first loss this year AND their first lost in the group stages in 3 years....with Rubin Kazan being the last team to BEAT them in the group stages.

What a ****ing day. I'm going to have to celebrate with a couple of cheeky Black and Bloods on the weekend. Thanks, Ballbaby. :)

So, how many Scott's actually dropped a winning bet on this game? The same number as tipped 20% to their waitress in the pub.

The last time I did it was on March 5, 2003 I believe when Celtic beat Satan's XI 1 - 0 on big Hartson's 67th minute goal. There is NOTHING like a Celtic/Satan's XI game......well at least when they were cheating their way to titles. :D Now, they get gubbed by ICT at home 3 - 0 in cup games.

98 Cup game vs Rangers unfortunately we lost 2-1 but the drunk guy who fell while coming up the stairs said it best "god bless the pope you fcuking bastards". Saw them beat Motherwell shortly after that and of course they went on to win the league that year and stopped the Hun run.

Torres dropped.

Chelsea taking a play out of the Spanish national team playbook, fielding a 4-6-0 no striker lineup!

Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, D Luiz, Cole; Ramires, Mikel; Azpilicueta, Oscar, Mata; Hazard
Subs: Turnbull, Bertrand, Romeu, Marin, Piazon, Moses, Torres

And they were shocking at it to say the least

Well, this day gets better and better if you're a United fan.

City out of the Champions League and Chelsea have sacked Di Matteo and brought in the fat Spanish Waiter Rafa Benitez to take over immediately.

Comedy at it's best really ....

I give credit to our greatest rivals.

Celtic very much earned their place in the last 16.

You must be chuffed bhoys - Congrats.

Great result! Soft PK call IMHO but you take what you're given!

Only way today could have gotten any better was if Galatasary didn't manage to qualify with ManUre.

They will be singing in the better parts of Glasgow tonight and very little work will be done tomorrow:)

Celtic better brush up on their anti-football tactics for the next round.
