July is All-Star tourney Month in the DCS. Get your latest results and banter (if that's what you want to call it) here.

Sit tight smallsy, the tournament details will be released soon.

Very soon.

July 21 is the tourney date so book your time off now.

A random draw was done as witnesses by my kid so it's official as can be. If you're worried, don't be, I've raised him to be honest and of course say nothing of what daddy's doing with mommy in the bedroom. Of course it’s easy not to lie when nothing is what’s happening. I digress…

The top three (league Standings) were placed in each of the following groups the rest were drawn random as above.

Group A
 • OD #1
 • 1Hun
 • SW
 • BD
Group B
 • Neo #1
 • Tilly
 • WW
 • Pom
Group C
 • DI #1
 • DV
 • Power
 • Scud
More details as I think them up

I will put 1000 TTP Tokens down on Tilly to pull the mild upset and come out of the B group as #1... of course, this will probably pay out very, very little considering the odds-maker :D

The odds have been sent via courier from William Hill headquarters in England. Unfortunately, they were just for the outright winner. If you like, I can e-mail Willlhill and give you odds on the group winners. Let me know because I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a problem for the fine lads at Willhill. :)

Also, an early heads up.....I will not be there until 9:00 as I am coaching until 8:30 BUT I will definitely be there no later than that........Perhaps other groups could get their matches going.....

Great Draw I've got.

Tilly - an easy loss for myself
WW- Death by wrong addition
POM- Wall Wrecker

Best scenario is 2-1
Worst Scenario The Prince stabs me to death when I'm up by a couple hundred after 9 arrows.

Regs I'd put the house on it.

Early request for extra onions and jalapenos on the nachos.

Is an Extra Large or Large shirt better for those who feel like they can win this thing? Or in my case XXXL.:p

TP - 6/1
Tilly - 8/1

TP - 6/1(7.00)
Tilly - 8/1(9.00)
Neo - 10/1(11.0)

Do I smell gyro's? Scud at 100/1 could make an interesting dark horse. We know he has access to a board in la belle province and his missus won't arrive for at least another week. That being said, Group C could be the group of death with. Actually, with the way we, the upper echelon that is, have been playing lately, they are all death groups. Should be interesting.

I'm in for tomorrow, 9ish sounds about right.

Group A

This group is harder than it looks, but I do suspect it'll become straight forward with the exception of its #2 spot. I think OD will take the top honors but not with-out a scare or two along the way. In this group OD is 5-4 vs. 1Hun and 5-3 vs. SW (Season 2 stats to date) the only person in his back pocket would be BD at 10-4 but he's in more pockets than.... aahh, someone who's in a lot of pockets. I don't rule out an early upset by the rookie 1Hun. BUT baring that upset the #2, in my opinion, is all SW's to lose. He's 4-1 vs. 1Hun and a 3-3 vs. BD, but I do suspect BD will fold like a cheap...aahh, something that is cheap and folds real easy, on the day and that #2 is SW's for the taking.

Prediction OD - #1 SW - #2

Group B

This is the most straight forward group of the lot. I think even with the serious lack of stats to prove anything, Tilly will win this outright. At 8/1, he as pick, is a seriously sweet little apple. Though he never lets me call him that in public. Bitch. Life time 3-0 vs. Neo and has never played WW (under the current format) and amazingly is 0-1 vs. the Prince, but a solid 6 dart warm up this time will sort out that little kink. Tilly should cruise once the early rust falls off hopefully this time not causing him to go through yet another major surgery. Neo is an easy choice at #2. The DCS' newest iron man should have enough to finish off any pesky challenges from either WW or Prince. If there were to be an upset I would have to give the nod Prince. Though my nod tends to look like a head-butt to the nose so I graciously offer that to him at anytime. Seriously, just ask. Please. Prince is 5-5 vs. The Matrix and could make a Greek size splash if he slips by Neo, who tends to flood small villages when he hits the water.

Prediction Tilly - #1 Neo - #2

Group C

I don't think I would say C is the group of death. Power, traditionally, but certainly not lately has had very good success against DI and Scud has always been a bit of a giant killer, though a year off the circuit is more damaging than most think. DV, who's been poncing, if there is such a word, around Europe will be a non factor. DI is 4-0 vs. the inept DV and 7-4 vs. Power. But look for Power to push for number 1 spot as that 7-4 is a lot closer than it looks. Power is 2-0 vs. DV and as above 4-7 vs. the stalwart DI. I can't see any major upsets here other than maybe if Power went onto stage two as #1 and Double In the #2 seed.

Prediction: Double In #1 - Power - #2

A little clarification please.

what the fcuk happens after the first round? I see 6 qualifiers, what about 7 and 8. Or do 1 and 2 get byes straight to the semis??Wouldn't 4 groups of 3 make more sense. or 2 groups of 6.

A little more confused than normal.

The Tournament rules have just been sent to William Hill and the Ethic's committee to approve. I can tell you though, 6 will go through and 6 go home. If we play at the Sundowner we could have a B pool, if not we will have to call on the PCS (Pool Championship Series) to kick into effect. From there we go from Euro to FA Cup. Names back into a hat for round two... Keep your pants on Blaze, please, it's in the works.

So are the Round one match odds and which two from each group going through odds, Regs.

Double In,

Just use the GROUP WINNER instead of the two from each group. It will be a lot easier, especially for betting purposes and odds. Yah?

Blaze,

You're actually acting like you're going to win the whole thing. It looks like Tilly will be there tonight. I might need a little practice before the HUGE tourney. Let me re-phrase that....I will be there at 9:12 approximately..

Tilly

Now, do I get licquored for the occasion? Sidewinder, any chance of a ride to the Landing tonight? Cheers.

Should we hit the grail and casino afterwards? Maybe we could finish off the bottle of Bushmills and you could make me another gourmet meal at 1:00am? Power has told me he works until 1030 but will likely stop by afterwards.

.
The chances of me winning this thing are on par with you eating onions and me turning down free beer. Zero. I may be able to pull off a mild upset but have zero chance of winning. I just like to be a pain in the ass whenever i can. That and i want to know what is going on up front not hae things change on the fly like they normally do.

Is still don't understand how 6 or 3 in Tilly's case move forward. Unles it's another group round robin type dealie with the top 2 playing in a play off final.
I see I'm still being a pain in the ass but what can i do. I enjoy it.

I believe we should play at the Sundowner for the sake of the extra board.
