We legitimately have 24 guys signed and struggle to get 12 out.... But good game tonight Red Devils. First half was kind of shite, field was garbage, both teams had decent chances but nothing much. Second half we switched fields, played into our advantage. We controlled most of the second, they had a few juicy balls across the box that probably should've been converted. We probably should've had a few more than 2, but they were decent at the back. Good game overall, wish we had finished one more beer to make it 40....on to the next!

Red Devils. 0

As DT said we took our chances they didn’t take their chances. Was a back n forth game, they didn’t get too much on net though. First goal came off a cross into the box where our guy took it down with his chest carried across the top of the 18 and cut the ball back into the far corner was a great finish. Second goal came about 20 mins later off fast break, where our striker headed the ball through to the other striker and he made no mistake finishing. Red devil also seem to beat themselves by chirping each other all game. Onto PMO gunners to get back our only loss on the year and take top spot

Here we go:

Pomo (Titans) come out flying, first 20 minutes at about 100 miles an hour. We hold on, barely, a couple of nice saves by our keeper. Impossible for them to keep up that frenetic pace, we get our legs and have a few chances. Seem to get a goal late in the half, ref at centre, blows it off. 0-0 at half.
Second half starts well, we miss the net oodles of times, appear to get a second goal but ref blows it off calling a foul on our player as he shooting the ball. Huh??
We get one half way through the half. 1-0 Dynamo.
They push, get one off a corner, yours truly was off way across the field at the other goal couldn't see it but a mix up as ball went through two of our guys and they slotted it home.
We push uber hard the last 5 minutes, have several chances, and with 30 seconds to go our winger whips in a cross to our guy at about the penalty spot, he chips the goalie, ball in the net---clearly--I was there--their defender bikes it out of the net. Ref calls no goal.

Well it was mental, I ran onto the field, our bench erupts, young children were woken. The ref said play on. 10 seconds later. Blows the game. Mentioned to one of our players that he couldn't make that call at that point of the game.

3 goals called back. Ouch.

On top of that, the foul total was 95-5 for us. Pomo for a bigger team--- went down easy and loud. They maul us, nothing. We breathe on them- the whistle went

Ref wouldn't talk to us but was to see him chatting and smiling and quite comfy with the Pomo bench for 10 minutes after, saying 'hi' to his friends or perhaps kids.

If this sounds bitter, it is. In my 30 years in the league, I have never seen such one sided reffing. Not even close.

Onto next week, if we could finish our chances we will be fine. If not, yikes! Pomo are a better side than their record shows.

Our 3rd string goalie has

How the fcuk....
We just had enough of being shut out!! Same hard effort, better team defence and burried a couple chances finally. Hats off to the Gunners, they are a quality side that plays the game hard and fair, we were just due. Hopefully this ends that ridiculous goal drought and we remain competitive going forward.

2-1. Rowdies over Gunners

Tough pill to swallow losing at home. All the credit to Rowdies for finishing their 2 best chances. 0-0 at half with possession split fairly evenly. Best chance of the half was a laser volley by our striker that missed the top corner by millimeters. We came out hard in the second but rowdies were sound defensively and the chances we generated were shots that missed the mark. Rowdies went up 1-0 on a well placed shot on a counterattack. Gunners tied it up on a free kick post and in. 85th minute rowdies striker hit a career full volley from 35 yards out that was unsaveable. Their defense held on to close out the game as we pushed hard for an equalizer.

Surrey next week in a battle for first place.
