Tale of two halves.

First half was all us. Up 2-0 early couple of nice crosses and finishes. We missed numerous more chances with good goaltending by them aided by poor finishing by us.

Second half was all them. They came out flying, started pushing numbers and we had trouble getting the ball, not many shots by them but lots of crosses that came oh so close. They get one off a free kick then with about 20 left we get a red card after a fairly innocuous squirmish. Tough with 10 but we held on, we did not want another last second tying goal against.

Nice win, beers tasted good.

First game we have been shut out, since the first game of the year. Just couldn’t get anything of too much quality on net, a couple decent saves from there keeper. They also had one really good chance, but there guy rifled it over from about 10 yards out. Game got a little heated near the end, but it was all over with once the game ended. Crushed a whole lot of beers, also thanks to the rowdies for inviting us over to drink with them aswell. Good group of guys. Hopefully we stop dropping points, could have had a nice point lead of B division. Well onto Sparta next week

Abby 2-1 Mission

We took the lead with about 20 left, then came a defenders block away from a tap in that would have made it 2-0. They found their feet then tied it on a nice goal, and then added another from the spot. We came close to equalizing on what was the very last attack with their defender making a clearance of the line.

Both teams played pretty well, credit to abby for digging in and coming away with 3.

Still haven’t heard news on how provincial spots will be awarded or when cup play will begin.

We had a hard time getting going, they showed good possession and skill. We were turning the ball over, a lot. They
score off a cross that hits yours truly in the shoulder, off the back of the forward's head..our goalie gets a hand on it but it goes off the post and in. Ouch. 1-0 Temple at half.

First 20 of second very sloooowww, nothing going either way, we change formation and push and get a great cross and finish, then a wonder strike by Shane from 30 yards out that gives a 2-1 lead. We get a ugly one off a corner then a nice give and go for out fourth as they were pushing.

Not a 4-1 game, a post and crossbar by them, a couple of missed breakaways as well. Nice to squeeze this one out
