An interesting article from Forbes magazine can be found here.

It concerns players whom they rate as being the best value for money.

They pick Sweden's Henrik Larrson as the most productive player in the World Cup.

No surprise there.

Go on England

Dude, my sked shows England/Nigeria 11:30pm TSN live, with the Argentina/Sweden game being tape delayed and broadcast at 1:30am.

I believe TSN switched them... Nigeria/England is now the second game to be shown.

As I posted elsewhere, I do believe that both games will be broadcasted simultaneously with the help of the Lifetime or OLN channel. I'm not sure which.

This info came from the Team 1040.

Looks like Rauter and the boys have had a change of heart. From The TSN Website

World Cup Note: TSN will broadcast the England-Nigeria match live on Wednesday at 2:00 am et. Click here for updated scoreboards and much more!

I just peeped this about 10 minutes ago. 11pm Pacific. Good choice. Dick Howard must be involved at some level. He's in the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame, you know.

10 fcuking 40

According to soccertv.com, which would appear more reliable than Team 10 fcuking 40, the England game is live on TSN at 11:30 and the Argentina game is right after it, on Same Day Delay.

England/Nigeria

Just spoke with someone at TSN........There was an outcry from people wanting to see it live so they (TSN) changed it back to it's original time.

It was originally changed because 5:30 EST was more feasible for the people out east to view the game instead of 2:30 EST....Fcuking centre of the Universe

Sandman-Good Work

Sandman:

The time changed because of the public outcry or did you use one of your patented death threats to get TSN to play the England - Nigeria game at 11:30? :p

Ontario the centre of the universe? Right, after England, of course.

Simultaneously on the OLN? I'll watch the South Americans, then.

England v Nigeria

Is it me or does this match seem like an exhibition match?

The Nigeria goalkeeper is, well, interesting!

On to the next round,

Another masterful performance, preserved by the brilliance of Southampton’s very own Bridger!

Between him, Anders Svensson and Agustin Delgado, who both (the latter two) secured a place in the record books as the first Saints players ever to score in the World Cup finals, the future looks almost tolerable for the "only Premiership Club on the South Coast of England."

Well done Claudio! Thanks for coming.

First player ever sent off in the WC without actually playing one second of football.

You've done Rangers proud.
