Was at the game last night, Southsiders we very loud at the start I could hear them in the north end. only had a couple of silent spots all night. I did enjoy the Love you long tan song, well done. Would like to hear more of the domo arigato omar selgado songs if he ever plays. good atmosphere last night and a good game, well done caps!!!

The Southsiders were getting praised on 1040 this morning. One of the workers who was at the game last night said it was the best atmosphere she had ever seen. I don't know who was talking to Scott Rintoul but he said he's been very impressed and the Canuck's fans should take a look at the Southsiders and try to get something similar going at GM place.

Ahem...

That being said, go to a Canucks game in this city...if you are a little on the over-enthusiastic side, you are warned then likely tossed, and probably because some conservative douche snitched on you. Never happened to me, but have seen guys escorted out for what appear to be the most minor of offenses. I think it may be that Vancouver is actually not a great sports city that way. Our fans are fickle as a whole. Many get offended and put-off if you happen to be standing in your seat cheering. So, that being said, I’d hate to hear that WFC are neutering their fans the same way the ‘Nucks and GM place have over the years. The enthusiasm that the Sounders and Timers supporters group brought to Vancouver should be welcomed from the home supporters group. It would give WFC a niche in this market place that is definitely different than the corporate / prude set, and something that we could be a little more proud of than the wife-beater wearing MMA crowd at Lion’s games.

Vancouver is full of fake fans and unfortunately reach a low level of the term "rioters". Because of this we will always be known as a No fun city for fear of a riot breaking out. This has ruined it for the true fans that like to sing chants and have fun.

IMO when it comes to fans attending games, the whitecaps have more "fans" than the canucks do. There are more familys who enjoy the games and more soccer clubs going and its just more affordable. Canucks games are packed of corporate fans. For the most part the "true fans" are upper bowl where its some what affordable. People don't pack pubs for caps games like they do for the canucks, but a real atmosphere live is more so to be found a caps game than canucks because rogers arena is a tomb if the canucks aren't winning. just my opinion.

The Southsiders support last night is what pushed the caps to victory and consequently made me go 3 for 3 on my sports action oddset ticket and turned my 20.00 bet into a 436.00 winner.

Cheers to blue and white army and his crew for making my pocket bulge for a couple days.

Now i dont have to "crank one off" over the internet. i can go buy the real thing or 2 of them..

Agree. Took my parents to the game last night and they had a great time.

BTW... was it not fcuking FREEZING in there last night? I was totally unprepared for that.

you would think the place with the ICE surface would be colder. But the Bell Meat Locker took the cake. caps long sleeve, jeans, hoodie and scarf still didn't do the trick. I wonder with the roof closed, if it will be much warmer, for some reason I doubt it. Anyone notice the work in the north end at the top of the lower bowl? Restaraunt possibly? would be a nice way to catch a game.
