Re: Match Day 2 - Predictions

4 fer 4 the First Day, lets go for Part Deux

1-Jennifer Love-Hewitt vs 16-Meg Ryan

Love-Hewitt, by a landslide, MEG Ryan is the biggest Cougar in this thing, with the last good thing she did being the fake orgasm in When Harry Shaged Sally.

5-Sarah Michelle-Gellar vs 12-Kirsten Dunst

Michell-Gellar, Vampire slayer will slay Spidy-Mans girl with ease. Agian no contest.

4-Heidi Klum vs 13-Mila Kunis

Klum, she is a super HOTTIE in this Compititon, she will go very far, mabey even Final 4.

8-Stephanie McMahon vs 9-Trish Stratus

Stratus, this is set up as an upset, but when you look at the two, Stratus is hands down winner. Unless the Comp. is rigged like Wrestling. McMahan is terrible, even with those huge fake nuggets.

Still Hitting 1.000 in Comp.

1-Jennifer Love-Hewitt 32 vs.
16-Meg Ryan 16

4-Heidi Klum 42 vs.
13-Mila Kunis 24

Hewitt and Klum with wins, so HOS is now 6 fer 6.

This is way better than March Madness.

Good Canadian Nuggets

8-Stephanie McMahon 18 vs.
9-Trish Stratus 41

Small upset for Stratus over Vince, I mean Steph, come on McMahon shouldn't even be in the Compitition.

HOS 8 fer 8, good start to the tourney.

Confused

How come everyone keeps posting McMahon-8 and Stratus-9 but my pick sheets shows McMahon-1 and Stratus-16 and Hewitt-1 and Ryan 16 posted but sheet says 8 and 9 seeds?

Which seeds are right?

Not that it matters to me (also 8 for 8), except that I had picked a major upset of Stratus (16) beating McMahon (1), instead of an 9 beating an 8.

I'm with Yoda on this one. I know it definitely said McMahon was a number 1 seed, which of oourse, I didn't believe. It also said Jenna Jameson was a 1 seed but her match showed her as being an 8 seed. What gives? BTW, Trish Stratus was DEFINITELY going to blow that fat piece of shite out of the water. Slam-dunk.

Yes

I thought Stratus would blow her out of the water no question, but I thought for sure i was picking a major upset instead of a small one.

I too knew she was definately not a #1 seed.

Match Day 2 Recaps

Field of 64 Match
Miller High Life
4/18/03 at 6:50 AM
1-Jennifer Love-Hewitt - 32 vs 16-Meg Ryan - 16

(TUKWILA) -- Number one seed Jennifer Love-Hewitt advanced past the 16 seed Meg Ryan by a final score of 32 to 16. The 24 year-old Hewitt overpowered the 41 year-old Ryan in the early going, but a late rally made the score a bit more respectable at the final buzzer. Ryan returned to the Bigger Dance after a one year absence but was unable to contain the younger, quicker Love-Hewitt. The two exchanged a long, warm, tightly-wound embrace after the game. The hug lasted for so long, event security had to separate the two in order to clear the court for the next scheduled game.

4-Heidi Klum - 42 vs 13-Mila Kunis - 24

(EVERETT) -- Supermodel Heidi Klum advanced to the second round with a 42 to 24 victory over first time participant Mila Kunis. Klum and Kunis played evenly out of the gate, but the German model flexed her muscles with a 10 to 2 run halfway through, pulling out to a double-digit lead she wouldn’t relinquish. Klum advanced to a second round match up with Sarah Michelle Gellar

5-Sarah Michelle-Gellar - 34 vs 12-Kirsten Dunst - 21

(EDMONDS) -- No controversy this year for “Buffy.” The high-profile return of Sarah Michelle Gellar resulted in the vampire slayer ousting “Spiderman” girlfriend Kirsten Dunst 34 to 21. Gellar, who advanced last year with a controversial one point win over “No Doubt” lead woman, Gwen Stefani is primed and ready for a second round match with Heidi Klum. “Klum is in trouble -- mark my words,” said a confident Gellar as she was given a piggy-back ride out of the arena from her new hubby, Freddie Prinze Jr.

8-Stephanie McMahon - 18 vs 9-Trish Stratus - 41

(GIG HARBOR) – It wasn’t much of a contest between the two wrestling “divas.” Trish Stratus, who was recently voted wrestling’s sexiest woman, pummeled fellow wrestler/manager Stephanie McMahon 41 to 18 in a first round laugher. Stratus buried McMahon early in the contest, leaving only the slight drama of whether she’d cover the point spread as a double digit favorite. Stratus barely broke a sweat (much to our dismay) but was able to spare energy for the second round. She’ll need it. Jennifer Love Hewitt waits in the wings…
