I cannot believe that one of the big networks is not carrying the ACC Championship game (Duke vs North Carolina) this morning. First time ever a conference championship game has featured the two last National Champions.

Best Final Four Ever!!! Ha Ha.... Not....

All in all a good time in Houston. Would have been better if there was more than one team with a big following (Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, etc..) Kentucky had the huge following, Buttler and VCU were much smaller, but UCONN was the smallest (seems they sent half the band and fans to Indy for the women’s final)….. Atmosphere in the stadium was good on Saturday and OK on Monday. We were all hoping for a Kentucky/Butler final as more than half the Kentucky fans left the Sunday…..

Reliant Stadium is a great stadium. Would love to see a football game there.
No alcohol inside the stadium (NCAA Event) but there was beer outside in the party zone. Weather was warm and humid…. I think it said it was 32 on Saturday and felt like 38 degrees… was overcast but I did get a little red...

The final was brutal. Both teams were shite. And the team you didn’t want to win, won. Bastards. You can’t win when you shoot 18% from the field. Then again UCONN wasn’t that great either.

As for Houston?? Don’t Go there…. It’s a business city and everything is spread around, not a tourist friendly city. You think staying in downtown Houston you would save on cab fare…. Nope… as everything is all over the freaking place…. and yes everyoen has guns down there!!!

As for pubs to visit… the flying saucer on Main Street… over 200 beers (100 on tap) and $3 pints on Monday….

Should have waited for New Orleans next year....
