While many TTPers may have certain pre-game superstitions such as pre-game meals, they way they tape up their socks, tie their laces, warm-up, etc., I'm sure just as many have certain musical tastes associated with their pre-game music. Whether it's to get you pumped up or as a superstition, let it flow in this thread.
It begins:
I often find myself only changing music based on superstitions -- play well, and listen to the same on the way to the game next week. Play shitty, and there's a chance to try something new.
Years ago, it had to be anything Canadian. Then it had to be Crystal Method; then Prodigy; then Rage Against the Machine. Now I'm on to a great track from the Canucks' in-house-DJ: the U2 intro when the players step out onto the ice. I swear, when those air-horns start blaring, it really gets you going. Now I just need better speakers . . .
