I predict an early exit out of CL for Liverpool. Why aren't they going out and buying a world class replacement? I like Lambert, but he isn't going to lead them to a top 4 finish in the EPL or advance out of the group stage in CL. And, taking on anyone with the name Bony is just asking for ridicule. This reminds me of the recent rise and fall of Newcastle.

I think Sanchez is a great signing. Do you really have anymore room for Khedira in your midfield though ??

We need a solid mid that can win the ball. Arteta was a decent stop gap for us between fab and özil (certainly not a holding mid) but since Vieria and Gilberto left we haven't had a real "midfield general" or "a makalele role player" that's main job is to protect the back four. With Liverpool, Chelsea, and city all exposing that last year, I feel khedira would be the final piece to the puzzle that could bring back a title.

Not sure if there's any truth to it or not, or if shaqiri is even a good replacement but I read on twitter pool have had a bid accepted by bayern.
