Well, with only the two finals left to be played, things are pretty much wrapped up in terms of the pools [see the updated standings].

As I see it, Rangerforever has won the President's Cup sub-pool as well as the overall championship!

The Pak Cup sub-pool comes down to the final though... Fat Monkey currently leads but has no chance of any more points. 3 poolsters have SC Rangers winning. Yours truly sits in second only two points back so a win by the Rangers will give myself, a VMSLer BTW, a much deserved victory.

I hope the winnings you’ll be collecting weight VERY heavily on your conscience. I see you picked the LIONS to advance to the finals. As a club guy, I’m so very disappointed in your lack of loyalty. Why Ranger? How could you ever bet against the Club? If I were a conspiracy theorist (I am), I’d say you have had something to do with that Ref missing one of our PK goals in our extra time shootout against the Lions…the missed call that allowed them to advance. Hummmmm…Rangerforever- the co-manager of a team with a seemingly unlimited beer fund, conveniently going against the Club for the purposes of personal gain. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!!!

I smell a conflict of interest case here! I may be tempted to file a formal protest with the league (now that the evidence has been exposed) AND a formal complaint with our Chairman. You could be given a lifetime ban from the SFC Hall of Fame for such a heinous offense!

Now, I could be dissuaded from any formal action should you decide to sponsor an informal TTP get-together Sunday, on the patio @ NAP pavilion. Should you pay up, the crowd will be on the Rangers side. Should you make the very unwise decision of keeping the dirty money to yourself, well, I can’t guarantee the whole balcony won’t be cheering for Delta…
