I rented Syriana last night, hadn't seen it at the theatre or anything, saw Clooney won an Oscar for his performance.
WOW is all I can say, if you are at all interested in the following topics you will enjoy this movie
1. Energy markets
2. US Foreign Policy
3. Middle Eastern Emir corruption
4. Middle Eastern poverty gap
5. Religious fanaticism
6. CIA Operatives
I could go on and on...This movie is done in a style I believe they are calling 'hyperlink' which is kind of like how Crash was done, where they follow the story of 4 or 5 characters and the stories ebb and flow back and forth from one another to a colossal collision at the end.
I highly recommend it, not the outcome you expect at all at the end, but definately a brilliant film and hots on many great topics and helps all Americans and other people across the world understand just how The US Government can and probably does act with regards to oil economy and business/corruption.
