Has anyone seen the film, I know most of you will have seen "The REAL football factories" on The Score now that they are carrying the EPL and 'The Footy Show'

Basically it is a film that follows Tommy Johnson (Danny Dyer) and his mate Rod in their involvment in a Chelsea hardman firm (Perhaps the infamous Headhunters?) and their run-ins over a three to four week span with Tottenham, Liverpool, Stoke, Millwall, and one other that I can't remember...

Tommy gets himself in hot water with a boy from the Milwall Firm when the guy finds Tommy in his sisters bed following a night on the pish. Rod comes to Tommy's rescue with a Cricket bat (He was in the next room with another girl from the bar), and then Chelsea draws Milwall in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, setting up the last hour of the film, where Tommy starts having 'visions'

all in all a decent film, perhaps glorified the firm violence more than painting a grim picture, especially with the ending they chose to go with...

Any of you seen it?

Thoughts?

I have yet to see Green Street Hooligans, I went into Rogers looking for that, and found this instead...

As far as Football movies go, this is one of the better ones out!!
I have heard some stories that these events did really happen in the 70's

It was alright, considering I understand Football Hooliganism etc...

Film-wise it was shite...No character development, choppy sequencing etc...

My brother down loaded it and I watched it 100 times when I was stuck in Halifax this past summer. remember when I was skipping out on your tournament because we are afraid of the Whalley STrikers:rolleyes:

As for what happened in the 70's there was some real crazy shite that went down. check out Scum if you get a chance also theres a really good book called away days that's a good read about football Hooli's. a friend of mine told me about four or five other movies thta are about the darker side of England/Scotland gangsters and hooligans. when I remember what they're called I'll post them here.

basically you download a program that allows you to Download files by way of first downloading a small file called a torrent. It is p2p.

So you get Utorrent, or Azureus, or BitComet (The Programs you need to run the Downloads) and then install. Once installed you then go to the net to mininova, torrentreactor, torrent search etc and then download the torrent files. Then when you try to open the torrent file your PC will ask what program to use, you open it with the client you chose to download earlier (BitComet is the best) and then boom, you are downloading the file.

I know you guys are from the Valley and a 'tad behind' but come on now lads ..... this film was done 4 years back !!! Seen it fcuking ages ago !!!

However, it's certainly my favourite 'football film' of all time and if you get a chance, definitely read the book - you will not put it down. Kippax who is close to illiterate as humanly possible even managed to get through it in like two days. Seriously ......

Also .... how on earth can anyone take a football hooliganism movie seriously when Elijah Wood is the main character ?? Give me strength .....
