That being said, I thought the Nucks looked like last year for the first 55 minutes. Shocking defensive play, very little moving the puck out of the zone other than trying to dump it off the glass and way to much dumping it in.

But the last 5 minutes and OT were magic

The scrap was good too!

Since the Strike I've found it hard to watch hockey
last year i caught a couple of games but really didn't like what the canucks were offering ...
This year I promised myself to have a fresh mind - due to all the changes
and I like what i see ... the Canucks are a great skating team ...
I haven't seen one Canuck coast around the ice on a shift
always getting to the corner first or at least fighting to do so
The defense and the forwards seem to be working together and for each
other
Basically theirs always room for improvement but you can say that about any squad ... i think the Canucks are moving in the right direction

For sure T-I but last night reminded me of last year as I was watching.

Hopefully it was just because of the team they were playing and they get back to beating the Phlegms 5-1 both nights

I haven't looked at NHL.com - where you can see the dots on the ice where the shots on Sanford were from - but from what i watched alot of the shots
were from outside or rushed and to that you can credit the guys working hard on the defensive game as well
their transition game looks upbeat and not useless like the past few seasons
