This is accurate. Another nice touch is that the vmsl has invited all past Provincial Cup champion teams to join us at the Ivanhoe. Below is the list of fvsl team invites:

We do have much to learn. For one the tactic of being relegated and merging with teams over and over appears to a flawless tactic. Who needs a club system when you can engulf an entire team. What I find odd is the old guards desire to hold onto the VMSL as the top league. The FVSL is run better, has better fields and lots of the top VMSL teams play out of the valley anyway. The question is why wouldn't Surrey, Peg, Delta etc just move to the Valley. All of a sudden Surrey, Peg, Delta, Richmond, ACBC, Poco, Peace Arch would all be in the valley, no travel and the best teams in the best run league, with the best fields and next to no travel. As you were.

Yes, and it's a much better tactic than finishing the season in the relegation zone, but getting to stay up because no one wants to move up from the division below you.

Peg 3-1 Inter (final), Sapp 3-2 Delta (final), SU 2-1 Norvan (final), Croatia was up 1-0 against Columbus when I left, WV 0-0 Westside...when I left and think Richmond won 1-0 (final) against MF. Some scores may have changed.

Great atmosphere today. Turf was hot and slow but facility is nice. Having the Ivanhoe a couple of blocks away definately helps refill the cooler. From what i heard: Surrey 2-1 Norvan. Peg 2 or 3-1 Inter. MF 1-1 Richmond. Columbus 3-1 Croatia. WV 2-0 Westside. We got a red with 35 left. Westside guy got a yellow. Not too sure about the call.Should have been two yellows in my opinion. Not sure about Sapp v Delta. On to next week.
