We are in that season now, although many of use the BBQ year round. There is nothing better than standing in front of the BBQ, beverage in hand grilling your favorite meal!

Does anyone have any great recipes or tips for a fantastic meal!

Here is an easy one for Salmon...

Mix brown suger and soy sauce in a bowl (enough to cover salmon in a marinating dish)
Cut salmon into strips and remove as many bones as possible
Place salmon in marinating dish cover with mixture and place fresh dill on top. Marinate for a few hours.
Remove from marinade (discarding dill), and cook on med heat grill until done. (usually 10 mins per inch thick)
Remove salmon from grill leaving the skin behind.
Ready to eat

It just gives the salmon a little of that smoked taste!

I love to barbecue. I cook all my meals on mine. I do have some problems every so often though. For example, I like barbecued shrimp but the little bastards always fall between the grill and they are a bitch to flip over too. Barbecued pasta is pretty good but the bottom of my BBQ is littered with penne nowadays. And barbecued yogurt is my favorite. I call it "Burnt Yogurt". You have to slurp it off the bottom with a straw but what a taste sensation! Speaking of yogurt, what is the deal with all these yogurt classes around town. Everyone's going to Hatha Yogurt, Power Yogurt and fcuking Birkham's Yogurt. Is it really that good or am I missing something?

Simple solution for this Dap, try a thin stick with the shrimp, then they will not fall down onto the flame and get all burnt up. If if have no thin sticks, I am sure your DICK will work just fine.

Dap:

Surprised you're not doing 'tatties on the BBQ....:D

Argyle: normally use the same marinade, but also add a bit of sea salt and some lemon juice...also have tried the cedar plank method.

Anybody tried the "beer can chicken" method yet?

Back outside to BBQ my corn flakes....

Beer can chicken is very good. Keeps things from drying out. I find drinking half the beer and pouring whatever marinade you used on the chicken into the can works really well. That and you are only then losing a 1/2 can of beer to the chicken.
