bombination
Every week on every Friday I receive the latest TTP bulletin, after having a brief interlude with this site just over the Christmas season. I sometimes have a little look around and must say I quite like the use of that word you invented, 'Bombinate'. I like it so much that even...
gay and lesbian
Have seen 'Withnail and I' twice. It is very very funny. An interesting thing was that the other day I was in a video store and it was categorized in the 'Gay and Lesbian' section. Now, having seen it twice, I feel I must be naive. Anyone out there care to comment? Did anyone...
Back to yours
Iwill check those out. I have some Morcheeba & Bent. Really into ChillOut music so the more recommendations you have the better. Air are good. 'The Virgin Suicides' is very sexy and will put anyone in the mood! Also, Thievery Corporation - 'The Mirror Conspiracy', but that may...
Radiohead
Max,
Yes, Radiohead was brilliant. The best moment of all was when the sun came out from behind the clouds and lit up the bleachers with a surreal blend of grays and golds. I think it was during 'Karma Police' . Couldn't you feel the electricity run through the whole stadium in...
thanks
Hedkandi,
I must get The Avalanches - Since I Left You. There was a great review of it in Q magazine. Also, would like to pick up StarSailor. I think they're opening for The Charlatans at the Commodore on Jan. 18 so will be seeing them then.
Thanks for the recommendations,

concerts
I heard that Sterolab were good.
Mercury Rev at the Commodore on Nov. 30th was also a treat. Very dreamy and surreal, quite beautiful really.
I can't believe I left out 'Jane's Addiction' on Nov. 3rd at the Pacific Coliseum. Did anyone else catch the insane Perry Farrell and...
How about fave concerts of the year?
I say the Area One Festival with Moby and New Order, followed by Radiohead and Beta Band.
The best club concert that I saw had to be Hawksley Workman. He was incredible!

It's been an entertaining evening. I don't ask for much!
I loved 'The Outsiders' too, and 'Lord of the Rings'. I can't wait to see the movie although am sure it won't be as good as the book. I think it will just be different and hold a place of it's own.
Thanks for letting me in on...
no harm done
I was trying to convey that it is nice to know there are some humourous guys out there. I miss that 'male energy' sometimes. Guys are fun to be around and its been a while!
talking shite
well yeah, lightening up wouldn't be a bad thing. I could use a few beers. Is that the drug of choice out there at the moment? I prefer to chill out myself, although perhaps too much enlightenment will scare you all away?
Is anyone out there? I'm new to this. But seeing as I seem to be in the book forum, thought I'd tell you that I just finished 'The Art of Happiness' by the Dalai Lama. It was a great read. Every now and again we need an inspirational book, don't we?
