Burnaby BCSPL U16 Roster includes 14 PTP players.... bad for the league?

Wow... you're right it doesn't make much difference - but you are incorrect with your facts. Even in your statement above you only include North Fraser (2 ptp) and Burnaby (4 ptp - but not all played Challenge Cup). At best half a dozen out of 18 ptp players played challenge cup.

Burnaby BCSPL U16 Roster includes 14 PTP players.... bad for the league?

I was just illustrating my point. BCSPL, stacking teams and it's eventual self destruction?

I would agree and didn't mean to imply that the stacking is intentional... I don't doubt that some clubs or coaches would recruit, but from my understanding this is happening more from a player's initiative. Who wouldn't want to play with their friends, especially if they are all provincial...

BCSPL, stacking teams and it's eventual self destruction?

If the BCSPL's object is to provide, a new level of elite soccer for youth and improved player development, will the practice of 'stacking' teams, in the end, lead to the destruction of the league and it's objectives? I have heard, both here on TTP and in discussion with those that would...
