First Time

Read that it's the first time 2 wingers on the same line made the first all-star team since Kariya and Selanne in '97.

Way to go.

Now if they can quit choking I'd be even more impressed.

How Professional are these hockey writers. Somebody voted for Naslund as an allstar at Right Wing, and voted for Bertuzzi as an all star at Left Wing.

No wonder Naslund didn't win the Hart Trophy there's some idiots in the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

Where did you get these stats from? I would like to see the full stats on all of the canucks. Where did Jovo finish up among the defencemen... or were some of the writers confused as to his position too... i know i was at times. How about Morrison et al.???

My Rant of the day

These rating and voting systems really piss me off sometimes... Is there any question that Mattias Ohlund is a better more consistant and valuable defensemen than Ed "Mr. Give-away" Jovanovski? Yet Ed continually recieves these awards. Look at how the Canucks coped this year when one was missing... When they were missing Jovo with the broken foot they hardly missed a beat, but when Mattias was out with his knee injury they fell flat on their face! Mattias didnt even recieve one vote... what a joke!!!

Wow.
Jovo got more votes than Chara, Redden and Niedermayer.
That's pretty impressive, actually.

That voting seemed fcuked though. Who voted for Dave Andreychuk as one of the top three left-wingers in hockey?

Do the people who vote even watch the hockey games or do they vote based on reputation??? I dont hate Jovo but there are so many other players that deserve some of the credit that he gets.
