First off I would like to thank god for playing such an important role in tonights victory.
Anyways, game plan was to go out and hammer those young kids around....check! Next was to play defence......Check! Finally, to win......check!
Not a pretty win, but stuck to our game plan and took many yellows and a red. We played most of the second half with 10 guys and had a few injuries..........mostly lower body! We were up 3 by half, and sat back and waited for them to rush the ball at us.................they scored early on a miss clearance and a crazy scramble. We scored soon after. Later, captain dive got a PK to come within 2.........that is it.
Honestly, they are a good team but DIVE way too often. A win is a win, DMU PPD.............please come again.

Their goalie was shaky, and we took advantage.

I beg to disagree - Your scouting report after the CAT/Highlanders match billed that young team to be everything you said they were.

What happened to the Whalley/GEU match today???! A bunch of us were on our way from our game to watch, only to learn that GEU never showed!

Both teams show and warming up and the refs decide to call it due to the one side being frozen 4 ft in from sideline all the way along field. Side note that field is embarrasing to be played on for a pak cup game the one 18 is all sand?? Any other fields available Whalley world?

I am embarrassed at that score, I can just imagine how Sporting must feel. I think we play them in a makeup game this coming week. Not sure if that is a bad thing or a good thing.

GEU showed up and were ready to play but didn't expect to see a 15x15yrd box of turf at one end of the field, and then another 10 yards of foot deep sand after that. Field is in shocking condition. As Girth mentioned there was a strip of field along the tree side that was still frozen solid as rock. Not safe to play on.
The field was almost as embarassing as one of the refs suggesting we take corners from only one side of the field.
I think the Whalley players were the only ones willing to play today.
We made our way over to catch the second half of Sikh vs. Delta match instead at North Surrey.
I got there just in time to see SixFyv get scored on by some 10 year old on a PK.
I think he was wishing he was SixSix on that one.

I believe they finished 2-1 Delta.
Guess we'll wait to see when this game will be played.

Off to watch Poco vs. Port Moody Pak Game at Heritage.
