How do the VMSL clubs qualify? Top 6 in the Prem and the Imperial Cup winner? I suppose it's a moot point this season, though, as all four Imperial Cup semi-finalists are in the top 7 of the Prem.

I find the FVSL website's "Promotion, Relegation, League Cups and Provincial Cup 2011/2012" page extremely helpful - wish the VMSL and VISL websites had similar pages. However, it's difficult keeping track of cups (particularly upcoming fixtures) on the FVSL website.

OH HAI!

Assuming VISL still have 5 spots, they should be:

Gordon Head
Cowichan FC
Bays United FC
Vic West FC
Nanaimo United FC

...unless Sooke Celtic upset Cowichan on Friday, in which take Sooke Celtic would be in, and Nanaimo United FC would be out.

League match ended Sooke 1-1 Cowichan, so Gordon Head win the VISL title; and more importantly for this thread, Nanaimo keep their provincial spot (at Sooke's expense).

Under "Important Notices", "Cup Notice 1" in the drop-down menu. Yeah, very user-friendly.

You support The Caps, You bash VMSL's website and write a perfect description of VISL allocations.

Well done B+W, keep up the good work:cool:

LOL. The VMSL, FVSL and VISL websites all have pros and cons. VMSL does a very good "this week" schedule - something that isn't offered by the VISL website, for example. Both VMSL and VISL have good cup fixture/result pages, whereas the FVSL doesn't. The FVSL has a great pro/rel rules page that's easy to find; VMSL has a decent one, but it's buried in the menu; and the VISL's is AWOL.

The FVSL League Cup final is at 2:00pm today, between Poco FC and Peace Arch United. PAU will secure a provincials spot if they win; if Poco win, the provincials spot will fall to the FVSL Prem third-place club, which is Langley United.

If Langley win the Pak Cup next week, that spot would then fall one to 4th.

Is there a convenient page on the FVSL website to see which clubs are still alive in the Pakenham Cup (at any given time; don't mean just right now), or must I trawl TTP threads?

I don't believe a ladder or bracket ever existed. It's just available for viewing on the week to week sched pages.

He is Correct. Unless a master schedule got sent out to coaches, there was never one posted on the FVSL site. Cup page was not even done up this year on the site. A bit dissapointing because it's always nice to know who's coming up next round or who you could possibly meet up against.

But then again, it's hard to fix the draw when everyones seen it. ;)

The provincial cups draw is this Monday (we knew that) at 11am at the Creekside Community Centre rooms 4/5. The BC Soccer Association will be "live-tweeting" the draw at @1BCSoccer. You can watch the account for updates, even if you haven't signed up for Twitter. The full draw result will be on the BCSA website on Monday afternoon.

The centenary (albeit only 90th) Canadian Challenge Trophy, and other national club cup finals, will be held in Winnipeg from October 3-8.

I am glad to hear this year's BC tourney is back to 16 teams proper.
VISL = 4 so B & W Army, Nanaimo will not be making it after all.
FVSL = 4, Poco, NDelta, Langley and PAU
PCSL = Who cares, its a poor argument to include them anyway.
VMSL = 7 spots
