if you're scoring at home...
1) peno is never a peno
2) boot to the face of Takaoka is a straight red not a yellow
3) arguable peno on Morillo for taking down Laryea
4) clear violent conduct from Laryea on Morillo after that peno not given
5) ref decides to stand at the top of the 18 with ball clattering around in 18
6) doesnt blow play down when he clearly ought to have
7) ref and AR both miss an obvious offside that VAR has to - finally - be turned on to call back
I'm far from a Whitecaps apologist, and Vanni has to find a way to keep his emotions from spilling over and causing his players to lose composure... but holy hell they got screwed on Sunday...

Clearly you set precedent... knucklehead got 6 games to start next season, plus $20K fine plus needs to take some courses to better manage his behaviour.
