Round One:

Game 1:
EDC Inter (VMSL) vs Ridge Meadows (FVSL); winner of this plays VMSL seed Cup champs Westside. FVSL teams continue to get no respect around here; the VMSL #3, who have the best draw in this tournament move on, for now: 3-0 Inter

Game 2:
Prospect Lake (VISL) vs North Delta Rangers (FVSL); winner of this plays FVSL Seed Langley Utd. Staff are hoping for a Rangers upset but it is very likely that they will be hung over. Propectors 4 ND Rangers 2

Game 3:
Columbus FC (VMSL) vs Port Moody Rangers (VMSL); winner plays VMSL seed league champs West Van: The Columbus-North Delta match could have been a cup final - in a parallel universe. Port Moody 2 Columbus 1 (OT)

Game 4:
SFC Pegasus (VMSL) vs Vic West (VISL): winner plays VISL seed Cowichan 49ers. Winner of this game will be in tough over in the unceded and traditional territory of Cowichan. Peg 2 Vic West 1

In the Friday game, Port Moody also won on PKs against Columbus, (5-4) after a 1-1 OT tie. So, two VMSL powerhouses are out after the first two games.

Game 6: Langley Utd. Knights vs Prospect Lake
Game 7: West Van FC vs Port Moody Rangers
Game 8: Cowinchan 49ers vs SFC Pegasus

Its in the post below yours Machel.
A bit of an upset over your boys.

Last year's provincial finalists underwhelmed during the league but on paper have a good squad.

I'd say both Moody o35 and o45 played like shite this year for their standards :p

You are right Machel, a very unusual year with the top three in the VMSL already knocked out, all by fellow VMSL teams. Also, all of the VISL teams including the runaway VISL champs Cowichan who would have to have been called a favourite over in the Island for the finals. The semis feature the 6th vs 4th place VMSL teams in the first game, and the 5th place VMSL team Westside against the FVSL Champs Langley, who are looking for FVSL hardware for the first time since the days of Rangerforever, Coach and a bunch of thugs that wore black shoe polish under the eyes. Both semis are on Friday night:

Port Moody Rangers vs SFC Pegasus; Trasolini turf: 8PM

Westside FC vs Langley United; BLSCW 4: 845 PM
