Some little things announced / heard under-the-radar to kick things off...

• Thomo is no longer with the club; this is more about a personal choice Niall made due to opportunities as a firefighter and thus no time to devote to VFC in the needed capacity of assistant coach
• Thomo's kid Lennon has also left the club and is attempting to latch onto Scottish outfit Hearts (B team).
• 100% no stadium roof as $10M cost not in anyone's budget this early in the club's existence.
• Another BC player has signed, Ben Fisk.
• TJ training with Dutch outfit Feyenoord - apparently TJ has a Euro passport so the same rules that held Phonzie back from immediately joining Bayern do not apply

Tidbits… signed a 15 year old from Coastal / Whitecaps academy whom has played for Ireland U15 & U17 levels…

Home opener April 14th vs Valour. Full schedule to be released next week I think… hearing no mid week games with majority kicking off at 4PM and no home games on any long weekends.

He’s trained my kid a few times so he’s pretty pumped to watch him play. Nice to see the local Coastal kid too. Makes kids start taking interest and believing it’s possible.

We all know which league is stronger, but the team the FVSL put out wasn’t close to as strong as it could have been. However i’m sure the VMSL can say the same.
