Who is the best striker in the world? A lot of debate on Adriano being the best in the world. Especially after his hat trick against Chile. He seems to be a new breed of striker, big, strong and powerful. Between Adriano, Ronaldo and now talk of Robinho, Brazil is looks to have 3 of the top 10-15 strikers in the world, right now.

My top 10.

1. Shevchenko
2. Henry
3. Adriano
4. Ronaldo
5. Drogba
6. Eto'o
7. Ruud Van Nistelroy
8. Ibrahimovic
9. Rooney
10. Totti

Subject to change...

any other opinions?

p.s Im counting Ronaldinho as a midfielder. otherwise bump everyone down one.

Outkast I'd say Drogba shouldn't be in the top 10...maybe replace him with Makaay. Otherwise the list looks good for a top 10 with maybe some adjusting.

I think Koeller might be considered based on his qualification scoring. Don't know what he is doing for his own team though.

At this time it would have to be.......

1)Nacho Novo
2)Peter Lovenkrands
3)Stevie Thompson
4)Frances Jeffers
5)Fernando Nieto
6)Fossil Maniero

After that, it's pretty well a toss-up.

You also forgot the whole Mereloma Team of 2003/2004 season ( except for No2) There was also that rising star that played for Pocomo. He had red boots and was last seen playing in the Troller tournament. Some times he blurted out a song called "It's not Unusual"

I nominate Dopeashell, out of the Alberta Institute of Reformed Wiggers Senior Boys Soccer Team. As has been told, you'll cry when you see him play, the way the beautiful game was meant to be played.

When you say rising, you mean like a loaf of bread don't ya?

I think I peaked playing for Peg in that tourney. It was nice of Luch to pull off after I skint all those Inter players. Because I never played ever again. Amen.

I was going to say pulled "me" off but I realize that sounds even worse. Let's just say it was a golden moment for everyone.

I believe that was my first and last tournament playing for Pegasus. :D Ambleside if I'm not mistaken, just off of Lonsdale. God bless all of us involved. I think we stuffed Metro Ford the first day.........Right or wrong, Gents?

To get back on topic, Robbie Fowler.
