Yes, Bronco..........I'm sure there will be many more apologies to come........... I'm sure this is the only time something like this has been swept under the rug.......RIP to all the innocent victims. May the bastards who killed these innocent civilians rot in hell where they belong.

Fantastic post Cappy. I moved here in 1975 at the age of 10. Old enough to comprehend the troubles. Been back 14 times, during and after the "troubles"

I phoned my Dad today to discuss the British report and apology. He broke down crying, and said this is when it all got ugly and broke down. This is when the "troubles" really started.

I am happy that the 14 that were assainated, have been exonerated. ANd that the Brits have accepted fault and blame. I hope they compensate the family's and move on.

Otherwise I fear this will drag open a lot of closets for people, and things good start to get ugly again!

Cappy, you know Barney is thinking about friends at this time!
