Gillis was one 1040 recently talking about how plan B is to bring up talent from below and create spots for young guys to come and compete. Wasn't this the same plan nonis had and the same team gillis said wasn't good enough. I'm reserving my opinions about gillis until mid season. Nice touch by canucks brass to honour luc bourdon.

Lots of big hits and was fairly fast paced. It honestly wasn't to bad of a game for preseason.

Chubby played alright,he did take along time to get from the center circle to the net in the shoot-out though.

Question- Is the no smoking rule new at GM Place? No longer are you allowed to leave the building at all. I guess Nicorate and beer combo will be a hot item at concession stands.
