The results are hot off the presses....the Soccer Resort/Setanta Van to Vegas CUP
Thanks to all teams for joining us for this first August tournament, a great start and we hope to get bigger and bigger and tempt more team to Vegas..
First up, Champions Women's B - was actually won by an over 30's team playing in the B division, with some over 40's players - the SHOOTERS from the Women's Metro League over 30's - runners up MELAROMA C, also from Metro League...
WINNERS, Coed BOHICA, who are Vegas August Champs 2008, won the Coed in a tense final, punctured only by the Lady in a Lime Green shirt in nets. Bohica are Vancouver Champs April 2009 beat Beer Loves who are a combination of Westside Rangers and Tsawwassen Rebels!
And Finally, Spring Champs SUBWAY, led by Phil and SIR M of TTP, returned and walked away with a tight Men's division, beating Disgracizia, FC in the Final on penalty kicks...
All three winning teams went into the hat, and the team to win the Comp weekend in Vegas for our December 4/5 tournament was.....
