I can't imagine much more of a tighter race to the finish. Only 2 points separate the top three teams. Borussia just claimed top spot from Bayer over the weekend, leaving them in the drivers seat, but Bayern München is looking at a more easily obtainable three points than the other two are. Exciting stuff really.

May 4, 2002:
Borussia Dortmund v. Werder Bremen
Bayer Leverkusen v. Hertha BSC Berlin
Bayern München v. Hansa Rostock

Well, you can't get much closer than that. 1-2-3. I guess Man U's not the only Football giant to go hardwareless this year.

You're Right!

Keeper,

Unbelievable finish to the Bundesliga. Riveting. I feel for Leverkusen, and hope they are at least able to knock off Real on the 15th. They should have collected "Die Schale", instead, it's those wankers from Dortmund - Fcuk!

You're right - perhaps going silverwareless will spur Bayern on next year. Promises to be exciting with Ballack & Deisler in the Bayern lineup.

Full credit to Leverkusen for playing among the most beautiful football in Europe this year - just ask Sir Alex!

Diving needs to be addressed

Curious as to what you two thought of all the diving in the Dortmund-Bremen game. It was so bad the announcer was making excuses for them. Any thoughts?

They didn't let any goals in -- that's what happened. Only problem is they didn't score either. Could have been worse, I suppose.

I'm sure things will improve for Wednesday. Don't you worry your pretty little Irish head. ;)
