There have been some great ones. Don't you forget about me. The theme to St. Elmos Fire. Rage Against the Machine for the Matrix series.

Can you name your favorite? Can you?

I don't know if it is my "favorite" but one of them for sure, would have to be Knocking on Heavens Door by Guns and Roses from the Days of Thunder soundtrack. I think they did a great cover of a classic tune. Much better than Avril who recently covered it.

What else?

Joe Satriani's theme to Top Gun is pretty sweet.
Sammy Hagar's Fast Times at Ridgmont High. Excellent.
The Pump Up the Volume soundtrack is great, but too hard to pick one song from.

So many.

Yours?

c'mon boys, EYE OF THE TIGER is the most classic movie tune ever!!!! try listening to this track without making some sort of speed-bagging motion(especially after a couple pops!!).

some other's: every song from team america(montage, so lonely, freedom ain't free...............), footloose, all the hits from purple rain, breakfast club theme song(can't remember the name or who its by).

Or tea-bagging motion perhaps, Walls?

Good god man, I am trying not to beat a dead horse (RIP Patches) here Walls but am unable to resist such an obvious opportunity. As for your musical seclections, I can only look at your offerings and hope upon hope as a fellow British Columbian that you are taking the piss. Please tell me you are.

As for the topic, The original Star Wars soundtrack was pretty rad.

Walls, that response was gnarly, wicked harsh and brutal, man.

I thought the soundtrack to Stallone's Over The Top was awesome. And what a rad arm-wrestler he was too.

1. Don't you forget about me - Simple Minds - Movie: Breakfast Club
One of the best songs ever written, hands down.

2. Live To Tell - Madonna - Movie:Close Range.
I caught this movie on TV, it is quite old, from 1986, but the
soung adds so much to a already excellent movie. They play it
in the background alot during the movie.

3 Colors - Ice Tea - Movie: Colors
Great song depiciting gang life in Los Angeles and fits in with a
great movie.

Menace was another real good movie with a good soundtrack.

Boyz in the Hood also has a cool old school Hip Hop soundtrack.

Then, there was the classic no Hip Hop fan could forget....

Cool as Ice....featuring Vanilla Ice. :D
