I know it might be tough for travel purposes, but maybe try:

Top 3 left in each of the Div4's A,B,C + 1
Middle 3 from each + 1
and all the rest.

Makes no difference to us because we travel all over the valley anyhow. But i know there are teams who
hate to travel outside they're 20km Radius.

Just a thought, it would make it a tighter race for all concerned. The bottom teams would all have competition
without getting ther ass kicked all over the field every week and the top ones would have a lot closer matches every week.

Thoughts

I dont get this... Maybe im just an idiot, whats this an idea for?

Sorry maybe I guess i didn't explain properly what i was thinking.

New Div4 A 3rd and 4th old 4A
2nd 3rd 4th old 4B
2nd 3rd 4th old 4C
2 down from Div 3

New Div4 B 5th 6th 7th old 4A
5th 6th 7th old 4B
5th 6th old 4C
2 new teams in

New Div4 C 8th 9th 10th old 4A
8th 9th 19th old 4B
7th 8th 9th 10 old 4C

Or something to that effect.

My thought is to put the better 10 in 1 Div, The midpack 10 in 1 Div and the lowest 10 in 1 Div. This way the teams are all playing in a Division that is mayby a little more equal Quality wise.

I don't think i can explain it any different. It was just a thought.

Well top two from div.4b are gone.

From what you say it should just be div.4.5.6 instead of 3 div.4's.
League would never do that they want teams to play somewhat locally.

If a new team like NC Blues comes in and Kicks ass they go up. If your not good enough to beat a new team coming in you don't really deserve to move up.

I know some teams still beleive they are of a higher quality but lets face it here guys we might move up and down between the 3 and 4 but for the most part we're just here to hang out with friends drink some beers and have a decent season playing teams that we can compete with. I'm sure alot of you will get pissed at that comment buy you've gotta face reality.

You could put it that way for sure. But if you do that then good young teams coming in would have to start in Div 6 and take 4 or 5 years to get up to where they belong. If there is 3 Div 4's it only takes them a couple years.

D4 is set up better geographically with 3 divisions. D3a will have 1 more south of Fraser team every year. We (BCU) play in the north D3a and with Sparta, White rock, and North Delta promoting...who gets the move to the North?

We all know TTP is a viable soccer forum that the FVSL SOccer league solely bases its judgement off of.,....So in saying that, Shotty not playing in the north!!! BAM! Congrats to sparta guys by the way on getting Wild Card Promo spot, they deserve it.... Spankin all teams out there like its their jobs.

Geographically works great for everyone accept the teams that lose 16 out of 18 games.

If you're losing 16 of 18 games in div 4 regardless of geographic set ups maybe you shouldn't be playing soccer.

The new set up did what it set out to, created a MUCH more competitive div 1. Both FVRD and Guildford will be in tough in Prem, but I think they will both hold their own up there. Still can't believe Gunners got regulated despite a 4 win 2 tie (ties against Guildford and FVRD) finish to the season, but those are the breaks. 6 points separating 3rd and 10th is pretty tight. Inter should fit right in, Don't know much about the Young Guns.

Start in 4 Win move to 3, Win move to 2. Isn't that 3 years, or do you have to win 1 of the divisions twice? Not trying to be a smart ass just wondering.

So because you don't win you should just quit playing. Maybe some people actually enjoy the sport, not just play until you don't win then quit

1 year 4a+ 1 year 4b+ 1 year4c= 3 year + 1 to get up to D2=4

start to D2 in 4 years( your system ) no?

Your right it won't work that way. I was trying to find a way for the weeker teams to have a competitive season.
